About The Herb Girl
I’ve been gardening since I was at my Grandma’s knee, and I’ve been interested in holistic and sustainable culture for a few decades. I’m an herb grower, licensed esthetician (skin care specialist), and a devotee of long baths, exotic scents, and products that nourish body & mind.
The herbs used in my soaps, candles, and sundries are grown lovingly by me, and I use healthful ingredients in everything I make. Purity matters to me a great deal as a trained skin care consultant, and I use organic and natural additives in my products whenever possible.
My creations are informed by Victorian sensibilities of hand craftsmanship, elegance, and a certain romantic sensuality with a touch of the macabre now and again. I am inspired by Orientalism and nature, and I do my best to use materials that both reflect these values and are considerate of the environment.
All items in my store have been tested on my lab rats… I mean friends, family and myself and found to be beneficial to well being and strangely addictive.
