& stories like this are why my blogging here has run a little dry too. I should be getting basil & tomato starts ready, but like most every other Austinite, I worriedly scan the too blue sky and hope that the rains will come soon & I’ll have at least a short Fall growing season.

Even my rugged never say die herb box is looking tired of it all.
